ADULT BEGINNER LESSONS THROUGH ROSSLAND RECREATION
Back by popular demand! Choose Classic or Skate technique lessons.
This beginner ski program is designed for adults to get a feel for the sport. One hour lessons for those with little to no experience. Trail fees during lesson time are included in price AND you receive an additional 5 punch pass to Blackjack (cost $72.00) to use in your own time. Taught by level 2 CANSI instructor, Linda Allis. Dress warmly with waterproof layers and gloves. Go on the waitlist if program is full as spots may open up!

NEW Programs For 2023/24
Youth and adults seeking to improve their technique and fitness may be interested in three new programs we plan to offer this season. Note that programming is dependant on availability of coaches.
After School Ski: recreational group for ages 10 to 13, with 1-2 ski sessions per week
Youth Loppet: recreational race-focused group for ages 14 to 18, with 1-2 sessions per week
Adult Training Group: meet other skiers and prepare for the Sovereign to Silver Star Loppet following a program with 1 coached session per week (5pm Thursdays) and 3 additional skis per week. This program is now at capacity and is no longer accepting new registrations.

Lesley Beatson
More Skills = More Fun. Adult Instruction and Coaching.
Lesley brings 40 years of experience teaching adults to cross country ski. She is a CSIA level 1 instructor in both cross country and alpine skiing, a National Coaching Certification Program (NCCP) level 3 coach, a graduate of the National Coaching Institute. Lesley holds a Masters degree in Education and a PhD in Leadership.
